12/20/2018 0 Comments BFA - Overwatch emotesPre-orders for the latest World of Warcraft expansion, Battle for Azeroth have gone live, with an anticipated release date of September. As always, the Digital Deluxe variant will confer pre-order bonuses on other Blizzard games. This season enables gamers to unlock some Starcraft II sprays, a Hearthstone card back... plus some Overwatch emotes, sprays, and voice lines.
This YouTube video shows the off new sidewalks, starting with the emotes where the poster girl of Overwatch reveals her Warcraft pride. The pre-order provides Tracer two new emotes, where she plants an Alliance or a Horde flag . (Frankly, I'd have expected her to be an Alliance player. Tracer seems like somebody with a maximum level gnome mage.) Torbjorn also has two battle yells, one"For the Horde!" In addition, some popular Warcraft characters combine Illidan and appear as sprays. If you have ever wanted to display your passion for Anduin (or Manduin, as some call his latest character model), you're in luck. The pre-order bonuses are simply the latest Blizzard themed collectibles to enter Overwatch following the release of Blizzard World and many Blizzard themed skins.

12/12/2018 0 Comments Developer update | OverwatchThe very first Developer Update for Overwatch of 2018 was all about the game plan for the coming weeks, including the next hero and the upcoming Year of the Dog occasion. Now, we have a more special Developer Update with the lovely Jeff Kaplan going in the hottest community issues that have inspired the most discussion and debate over the previous months.
Abusive conversation in live matches is now down 17%, which is not a bad number at all. Player coverage is up 20%, which may lead to those fantastic results. Kaplan refers to the procedure as"restoring faith in the machine", and hopes that things will further improve in the coming weeks. 1 way that the team is expecting to do that is by tracking social media sites like YouTube to discover in-game examples of high profile, negative behaviour and acting accordingly. The next topic is protagonist equilibrium, which is described as a balancing act between taking feedback between thousands of smaller sub divisions (while utilizing Blizzards own inner remarks and metrics). The Mercy changes currently on the PTR are called"experimentation", suggesting they will not be going live just yet, and Kaplan admits that Mercy is"the most played hero in the game" and a much-loved support. The aim is always to make Mercy viable, not to nerf her from expert play or the competitive meta. That is why Mercy is not the best champion for overwatch boosting. The following hero to obtain a larger scale rework could be Hanzo, especially since his Scatter Arrow can often feel unfair and punishing. Mei is also known as a hero who might need"slight adjustments", but the aim is to keep her as a situational enthusiast who doesn't feel oppressive to perform against. The Developer Update ends on a high note, as Kaplan notes that things feel"pretty great" right now. With Hero 27 coming and equilibrium changes in the works, hopefully its possible to get Overwatch into an even greater state. |
